Assistant Instructor (AI): Allows PADI Divemasters going towards PADI Instructor rating to do this course as an intermediate step thus reducing the workload, time and cost. By splitting the Instructor course in two, the AI course becomes a more enjoyable journey of learning and discovery. After completion it also gives you the opportunity to apply the gained knowledge and to make it far more relevant when enrolling in the OWSI or second part of the PADI IDC Instructor program.

The new range of PADI TecRec courses replaces the previous DSAT program. The instructor program now offers two levels of Tec Instructors while diving on air: Tec Instructor and Tec Deep Instructor.

Tec Instructor: Allows renewed PADI Instructors to teach Tec 40, entry level technical diving program that bridges the gap between recreational diving and full technical decompression diving.

Tec Deep Instructor: Allows renewed PADI Instructors to teach qualifications with a high level of competency for technical divers including handling of two decompression cylinders to a maximum of 50 metres.
